While an average netizen finds it a huge convenience to have online email accounts, do credit card transactions, take money from ATMs, do online trading, have their savings bank accounts online, it is baffling to see the question on privacy and safety of documents online alone arise repeatedly. May be it is due to to the very long standing norm to have everything on one’s own laptop/desktop. Any other plausible reason for this unreasonable fear?
